Teacher Store Supply Drive
Drop off NEW school supplies at the Teacher Store truck at Veterans Memorial Stadium on August 17 from noon to 1pm.
Join us to support the Teacher Store
In honor of our 90th anniversary, we’re partnering with the Cedar Rapids Kernels to host a school supply drive for the Teacher Store at the Kernels game on Sunday, August 17! The Teacher Store is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to support K-12 educators by providing free school supplies and resources to benefit students and schools in our communities.
Please drop off NEW school supplies at the Teacher Store truck near the Corda tent by the main entrance to Veterans Memorial Stadium between noon and 1pm. (New items only, please!) School supplies needed to keep the Teacher Store inventory stocked for school visits and community events include:
- Pencils (packages of 24)
- Colored pencils (packages of 24)
- Markers (packages of 10)
- Crayons (packages of 24)
- Dry erase markers
- Packages of lined paper
- Two-pocket plastic folders
- Composition notebooks
- Eraser tops for pencils
- Boxes of facial tissues
- Disinfecting wipes
- Storage bins
