Corridor Sports Complex Partnership Announced
Corda Credit Union and Murray Elite announce naming partnership for new sports complex in North Liberty.
A welcoming hub for families, athletes, and the entire Corridor community
Corda Credit Union and Murray Elite have entered into a 10-year exclusive naming rights agreement for the highly anticipated North Liberty Sports Complex. Designed by Streamline Architects, the $14 million facility will be named the Corda Sports Center and is expected to become a key destination for health, wellness, and community connection across the Corridor.
Located on the east side of North Liberty at the Liberty Commons development, the 50,000 square foot campus will include a 24-hour fitness center operated by Elite Fitness and a physical therapy clinic led by Ability Physical Therapy. The Corda Sports Center is expected to welcome over 600,000 guests in 2026.
“This partnership just makes sense,” said Kenyon Murray, founder of Murray Elite. “Corda Credit Union and Murray Elite both care deeply about the communities we serve. We’re here to uplift, inspire, and create real opportunities. Our values line up, and the timing couldn’t be better.”
Groundbreaking for the Corda Sports Center is scheduled for September 2025, and a community event will be announced soon to celebrate the start of construction. Murray Elite has selected Build to Suit as the construction partner, the same team behind the TBK Bank Sports Complex in Bettendorf. Construction is expected to wrap up by December 2026.
“At Corda, we believe well-being has three parts: physical, mental, and financial,” said Paula O’Rourke, President/CEO of Corda Credit Union. “This partnership with Murray Elite lets us support our community in a way that goes beyond financial services. We’re proud to be part of a space that encourages growth, wellness, and connection — values that are at the heart of who we are.”
To support the long-term success of the facility, Murray Elite has partnered with Sportsman Solutions to guide sponsorship and partnership strategy. As a national leader in sports venue development and revenue generation, Sportsman is helping bring additional funding and mission-aligned partners to the project.
“Corda’s expansion is a major move into the Corridor, and this partnership plants their flag in a meaningful way,” said Jacob Goyke of Sportsman Solutions. “Murray Elite is going to shape the future of sports and health in the region. These are the types of partnerships we strive to create — rooted in purpose and built for lasting community impact.”
The Corda Sports Center is more than just a place to play. It’s being designed as a welcoming hub for families, athletes, and the entire Corridor community. It will offer a safe space to train, recover, and grow, built on a shared commitment to legacy, vision, and community impact.
