Corda Teacher Store is a nonprofit organization created by Corda Credit Union out of a deep commitment to educators and the belief that strong communities start in the classroom. In the wake of the 2008 floods, many local schools were rebuilding with limited resources. Corda (previously Linn Area Credit Union) stepped in to help, laying the foundation for what would become Corda Teacher Store.

Since opening in 2009, Corda Teacher Store has provided free classroom supplies to local K-12 educators, helping bridge the gap between tight school budgets and the real needs of teachers and students. It also honors Corda’s educator roots, which began with 11 teachers who helped found the credit union.

Education starts with heart, and we are proud to stand beside the teachers who are building the next generation every day.
