Wire Transfers

Send and receive money securely.

A wire transfer is a fast way to move funds electronically between individuals or financial institutions. You can wire funds anywhere throughout the United States, as well as to many places internationally. You can also receive incoming wires into your account.

How to send a wire transfer

The first step is to get wiring instructions from the person or business you are wiring money to. They will need to contact their financial institution and ask for their wiring instructions. Be sure to get the receiving financial institution’s name, address, and routing number. You’ll also need the full name of the person or business who is receiving the wired funds along with their account number.

Once you have this information, stop by any Corda Credit Union branch or give us a call and explain that you’d like to set up a wire transfer. State that you have the wiring instructions from the receiving institution.

Corda Credit Union charges a $20.00 fee to wire within the United States and $50.00 for international wires.
