Technology is a central part of young people’s lives, creating opportunities to learn, connect, and explore. It also presents risks that all families should understand.
Join Corda Credit Union and Chains Interrupted for an educational seminar on the top risks facing young people today, how traffickers and online predators exploit technology, and simple ways to stay safe online.
Parents, guardians, and youth are encouraged to attend. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This free seminar will be held in Corda Credit Union’s Business Center at 3015 Blairs Ferry Road NE in Cedar Rapids on Thursday, October 1, from 6 to 7pm. Dinner will be provided, so plan to arrive early for the buffet. Doors open at 5:30pm.
