Come celebrate being a Corda Credit Union member with us! We hope to see you and your immediate family at the Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball game on Sunday, August 16, at 1:05pm at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Gates open at noon.
School Supply Drive for Corda Teacher Store
As part of the celebration, we are partnering with the Kernels to host a school supply drive for Corda Teacher Store. Honoring Corda’s educator roots, which began with 11 teachers who helped found the credit union, our nonprofit provides free classroom supplies to local K–12 educators.
We encourage you to bring NEW school supplies to support local classrooms. Your donation will also gain you entry to our drawing for a Corda prize pack, including a GCI Rocker Chair and Hydro Flask Cooler. Learn more about the supply drive here.
Before You Reserve Your Tickets

The Corda check-in table will be by the main gates on the day of the game. To pick up your free tickets, you’ll need to show us proof of membership, so be sure to bring your Corda or Linn Area account card, debit or credit card, or checkbook. (You will NOT need to print your Eventbrite ticket.)
FREE tickets are for members and their immediate family only. Non-members may purchase a ticket at the Corda table the day of the game for $20 each if you would like them to sit with you.
Children three and under are free and don’t need a ticket if they sit on an adult’s lap. If the children need seats, they need tickets.
Yes, your free ticket comes with a free snack and drink coupon, courtesy of Corda Credit Union.
If you have a specific seating request, like wheelchair seating, shade, or aisle seats, please let us know at the Corda check-in table, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Unfortunately, no. If it’s just drizzling, we encourage you to come to the stadium. If the game is called off due to rain before 4.5 innings are complete, you may be able to redeem your Kernels ticket stub for a different game. For more details, please read the Kernels’ full rainout policy.
If the game is canceled before it begins due to rain, we’re so sorry, but Member Appreciation Day at the ballpark will be canceled. The Kernels staff waits until the very last minute to make the call on a rainout; we won’t know for sure if they’ll play until it’s close to game time, about 1:00pm. To see if the game has been canceled due to weather, please visit the Kernels’ website.
